Bicarbonate of Soda or Sodium Bicarbonate if you prefer is a gentle raising agent commonly used in, but not exclusive to gingerbread, parkin, soda bread and light batter.
Follow your recipe guidelines in respect of dosage
Ensure you store in a cool dry environment, not subject to major heat change or once open the product will become moist and start to lose it's strength.
It is best to use within one month of opening
Sold in small handy 130ml (105gm) tubs for you normal use bakers and 1Ltr (1Kg) and 2Ltr (2Kg) for someone really keen or semi-professional.
